Select a thumbnail to change slides. Double-click text or select it and choose Edit text. Type or paste plain text, then use the formatting toolbar.
Drag objects to move them. Use the corner handle or Properties to resize. The arrow keys move a selected object; hold Shift for larger steps. Use ⌘/Ctrl Z to undo, or ⌘/Ctrl Shift Z to redo. The most recent 40 changes stay in this session.
Chart examples contains only fictional, editable examples. Select a chart and choose Edit chart to update its data and units. Notes opens editable speaker notes.
Present opens a focused view. Use the arrow keys to move through it and Escape to exit. Full screen depends on your browser.
Changes save only in this browser. If storage is unavailable, they last only in this tab. Save editable HTML downloads the slides and editor together. Open that file to continue editing. Export deck JSON saves the content for use with Open deck JSON.
To change the app itself, attach your saved HTML to ChatGPT Work and ask for one specific change. HTML lets you customize the surrounding tools and add interactive behavior inside slides. This starter has no account, cloud sharing, live sources, company templates, or PPTX import/export.
The download includes no font files. It uses OpenAI Sans where available, with Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, and sans-serif fallbacks. You can choose a different font in the toolbar. Adapt the branding for your own work before sharing; the starter does not grant rights to reuse OpenAI’s marks.
Starter limits: 30 slides, 80 objects per slide, a 1 MB deck, raster images under 240 KB, 12 chart rows, and 4 series. Keep a downloaded copy; browser storage is not a backup. Saving does not publish a Site.
